Introduction

          Now i would like to formaly introduce myself, my name is Rebecca Zang. I go to C.C.H.S.. Writing this at fifteen years old i am a freshman. I used to go to Unity Point rite outside of makanda. From pre-k to 8th grade i had gone there. I have lived in "point place" for about forteen years. Now finaly ending freshman year, i regret nothing.           Personaly, my favorite poem out of this selection was Forever love. I like this poem the most because it is a description of a weading. Where the bride is walking down the isle to meat her true love. To hold, as said in the peom, always and forever. I hope you also like this poem because i hope that you were able to understand its beauty.
          Next I would like to tell you the poem that i wrote that i did not like as much as any of the others. That was No good you. I don't like this song because it brings your emotions down. It is a depressing poem. Decribing failure and the inability to ever amount to anything I find it depressing to read.
          Without a boubt, I can say I have learned a few things in this poeatry lesson. One thing i was able to grasp and learn was that nomatter whom you are, short, tall, rich, or just not so much, if you put yourself out ther, you will go far. If you try your best, and put your work into the world, someone will notice.
          I have also learned that writing poetry can take away stress. If you write down what you feel, like in a poem, alot of stress can be taken away from your life. You might not even realize it at points, but it does. You ushaly can feel a huge weight on your shoulder just flote away wit hevery word you write.

Kids are wild bears

Come home
After a long day

Day To Night

Wake up
To the yelling of my alarm
Get ready for a thing called school
Go outside
Look around
Birds churping
Dog barking
Look aroud
Waiting
The school bus finally comes
I get on to the sound of soundless noise
Once at school
Rush to class
Sing a song and try my best
Don't look left
Or dare right
No cheeting
Though on my right
He looks left
Think for a minout
Test for an hour
From class to class
Till lunch
Then back to more classes
English and math
They go by fast
Finaly
Once again
Time to go home
Back on the bus
The nonsense goes on
Stare out the window don't make a sound
Wait to get home
 I'm a step on the grass
Go to my room

"Clothing Optional Day" #2

     In the book twisted, girls seem to think it's okay if they wear little to no clothing. To think that there's even a chance that a girl could do that in my school, or boy, I truly find it disturbing. School is a place for learning, not a place to show off your body. If you would like to do that recommend going somewhere else. Do it's more common for girls to be sexually harassed, and may happen to guys too. Stopping sexual harassment in the workplace, the school yard, or truly anywhere, can be a highly difficult task. Wearing short shorts, short skirts, low cut shirts, or any other form of little to no clothing would put you at higher risk of sexual harassment.
     Yes, some think the only girls/ women can be sexually harass, that truly anyone can. As I said before stopping harassment is very hard. Anyone can harass another person in any way. Something simple like the way you dress could change the way some of you. Yes it may be harder for a man to be sexually harassed, "pushing the boundaries" is not okay. For example: saying "you look fine", maybe okay to some, but not a lot of others. Unknowingly by saying that may have even offended someone.

Blog#3 - Twisted Quotes

Tyler may seem all big and bad but when it comes to his little sister that is truly soft. The only thing that crosses his mind is to protect. In this quote I took from the book, “Keep her out of trouble”, it shows that he truly cares about his sister. No matter how big and bad others think he is. All he ever wants to do is protect the ones he loves. Do you work don't you think that Tyler could be not only be “big and bad” that he could also have a soft heart?

Next is the theme of this story Twisted. I believe the theme of twisted is to control yourself .In any situation, if you have been bullied, or just cant figure your math problem out and just want to yell, remember to stay calm. Acting out isn't the best solution. Though you might think it is at the time, it never is. You should never have to act out in any way. I think the theme is to just stay calm in high stress situations.

Blog#1 - I Have Met Josh

Bulling:
          It's everywhere. In our schools, in our neighborhoods, and even among friends. When Josh came to our school she talked about how this is truly everywhere. There is just about no getting away from it. Most times, people have it at home also. Josh talked bout how bulling can truly hurt people and there self esteem in may ways.
          In the book twisted, Tyler had been bullied for most of his life. To the point that he acted out on his built up anger. In being tired of had been bullied his entire life, Tyler acted out on his anger in a way that should not have done. Now Tyler is being punished for releasing his anger. The boys that treated him so badly, got to enjoy there summer when Tyler was forced to work all summer to pay off the bill for spray painting his school.
